Bar Code Printer

The Smart Pack Bar Code printer is a high-speed printer that can print barcodes and other information onto a variety of label materials. It meets the following requirements:

The printer prints at a fast rate of 152.4 mm (6 inches) per second, enabling for high-volume printing.

The printer can store a 300-meter (984-foot) ribbon supply on a 25.4 mm (1 inch) coated outer core. Longer print runs are possible without the requirement for frequent ribbon changes.

Furthermore, the printer can store a 72-to-110-meter (361-foot) ribbon supply on a 12.7 mm (0.5 inch) coated outside core. This tiny ribbon is suitable for shorter print runs.

Internally, the printer can take label rolls with an outside diameter of 127 mm (5 inches), and an optional external media holder supports label rolls with an outside diameter of 214 mm (8.4 inches) on a 76.2 mm (3 inch) core.

The printer includes a print mechanism designed for kiosk use, making it perfect for use in retail settings.

The printer is driven by a 400 MHz 32-bit RISC processor with 64 MB SDRAM and 128 MB Flash memory, which allows for quick print job processing.

The printer includes internally scalable true type fonts, enabling for text and label design flexibility.

The TSPL-EZD printer's firmware emulates TPLE, TPLZ, and TPLD languages out of the box, making it compatible with a variety of software and printing applications.

The printer includes free Windows® drivers and label creation software, both of which may be downloaded from the manufacturer's website. This makes it simple to integrate with existing software and printing systems.
